The solutions proposed for giving your rooms personality are quick and fun to make and include door ornaments, fabric decorations and decorative patterns for lampshades and stools, as well as some original ideas for laying the table. Get inspired and start experimenting with colour and decorative patterns to create big and small projects in every space of your home. Charlotte Hedeman Guéniau was born in Denmark and founded RICE in 1998, a few months after the birth of her son Max. Together with her French husband, Phillippe, she wanted to change her life: after living and working in Paris for 15 years, the couple moved to Odense, Denmark, where they founded an empire of ethical homeware. Today, RICE has a delightful office and showroom in the building of a former shipyard near the Odense waterfront. The company employs 75 people worldwide and creates influential homeware collections produced internationally in an eco-sustainable way. Its creations are found in many stores including Liberty in London, Ilum in Copenhagen, Huset in Malibu, and Perfect Eats in Denver, USA. Charlotte has also written several Danish cookbooks.
