All designs are created by Stéphane Casier, painter and illustrator. Growing up in the 80’s fed on Japanese cartoons, he has charted his way with passion and creativity. After practicing his talent as an illustrator in advertising, music and fashion, Stéphane has dedicated himself for several years to the production of personal works for Yeaaah! Studio. His lively and unique creations are also exhibited in French and international galleries.

YEAAAH STUDIO "HANAMI" PRINT - This is Ina, one of characters inspired by Japanese pop culture. Like her father - the famous wrestler Great Kitsune - she never leaves her kitsune mask (kitsune is Japanese for ‘fox’). She was named after the goddess Inari.
YEAAAH STUDIO "KABUKI RAMEN" PRINT - This illustration takes inspiration from the classical Japanese woodblock prints (ukiyo-e). It shows a Kabuki actor eating a bowl of ramen.
YEAAAH STUDIO "MANEKI-NEKO" PRINT - This illustration is inspired by the Gotoku-ji temple, known for having more than 1000 cat figurines called Maneki-Neko.
YEAAAH STUDIO "THE MINO FOX" PRINT - This portrait depicts a fox eating takoyaki (ball-shaped snack stuffed with octopus) and wearing a traditional straw cape (mino).
YEAAAH STUDIO "JEAN-PAUL" PRINT - Jean-Paul is a tanuki, he can change shape thanks to the magical leaf he has on his forehead. His parents are French cinema enthusiasts so they named him after the actor Jean-Paul Belmondo. He owns a café in Y-City where he offers homemade pastries and makes cute 3D latte art characters.
YEAAAH STUDIO "CAT LEAVING A RESTAURANT IN THE SNOW" PRINT - This illustration inspired by Japanese culture depicts a cat leaving a restaurant in the snow. He’s wearing a rice-straw coat called mino which was widely used in the countryside to protect from rain and snow.
YEAAAH STUDIO "MIKO" PRINT - This illustration represents a shinto priestess named "Miko", a somewhat "badass" character in which the author took inspiration from Studio Ghibli to create the atmosphere and background.

YEAAAH STUDIO "AUTUMN EVENING" PRINT - This is a portrait of a yūrei (Japanese ghost) wearing a hitaikakushi (white paper triangle) on her forehead. Her make-up and hair style are inspired by the Heian period (794-1185). She’s surrounded by persimmons which are a very popular fruit in Japan.
YEAAAH STUDIO "YAKITORI CHEF" PRINT - This portrait represents the chef of a shop serving yakitori (Japanese skewers). His tattoos suggest that he is or has been a member of a yakuza group (Japanese mafia).
